Good to see you spreading more Lancer community knowledge! I think this covers most all of the pitfalls players can make early on when building.
I think one other LL0 pitfall I’ve seen is taking the EVA system and another flight/propulsion system. For example, if you take Rapid Boost Jump Jets, you don’t need to take the EVA system to avoid issues in zero-g! Any flight system will do the job; EVA’s primary benefit is that it only costs 1 SP to make all that underwater and space navigation easier.
Honestly I've seen mixed reactions as to whether the RBJJ covers the benefits of the EVA module. Some say it's fine in Zero G and Underwater, some say you still need the EVA module to avoid being Slowed.
I could understand that, given that the book's definition of "propulsion or flight system" under the "Gravity" section is a bit vague. I suppose I just typically rule that RBJJ counts since it's listed under "GMS Flight Systems" and it's a little more player-friendly. If you've seen other interpretations, I suppose my advice instead becomes "ask your GM before taking *both* EVA Module and RBJJ."
